Flow Effortlessly Into Fall...

I hope you had a wonderful summer and are still enjoying the lightness of the late summer days, the bounty of harvest time, and the shifting of the season.

Flow Effortlessly Into Fall - with the tools given in Classical Yoga. Now is the time to refocus, organise, plan and gather our energies for the fall season. See Poster below with info on upcoming classes....

Some of the themes that arise at this time of year are - Letting go - resistance - release - FEELING RESISTANCE FULLY and being with it, breathing through it, allowing it to unfold and shift with our conscious attention. Lung health is a focal point at this time of year, as is the digestive system (with all this wonderful food, and cooler weather weare going to start eating stews and soups and pies and muffins again mmmmm!) The emotions that tend to arise in Fall are -grief and sadness - this comes with letting go.

Classical Yoga gives us practical, tried and true methods for our lives in every moment. Take the time for your own self nourishment and notice how it enables you to rise to the tasks of your life with joy and ease. In these changing times it is more than a pleasure to take time for creativity and self care - it is our responsibility! Whatever you choose to do, enjoy it with your whole being and let it nurture your spirit so you radiate truth and love.

Blessings!

Anisah

Yoga Basics
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-10am
$98 - 4 weeks/8 classes
July 6th - 29th

New to Yoga? Learn the basics in this 4 week introduction to the ancient teachings. Yoga is about awareness- awareness of body, mind and breath. The Rishis or researchers of yoga observed natural cycles, plants and animals and developed practices and teachings to create harmony and balance in human beings. Yoga is so much more than stretching your muscles, improving your golf game, or trying to look good in those new leggings - although it will help all three of these! :-).
These classes will take you through a step by step process and give you a solid foundation for your practice. We will learn correct alignment in simple poses (asanas), gentle breathing practices to calm the body and mind, and methods to release tension. Bring your willingness to try and your sense of humor. Everyone welcome, especially the absolute beginner!

Please register by July 1st by emailing sevacentre@gmail.com
You can also register in person at the July 1st Canada Day festivities in downtown Grand Forks, at the Granby Dance Studio table.
